What have we been up to?

There wasn’t a hint of May mischief or mayhem at PACE last month. Interested in what we got up to? Here are some of the highlights:

  • Hosting a directors’ breakfast for the PSMG on the subject of client pruning strategies.
  • Developing client relationship skills for engineers and consultants working on Nuclear frameworks (which is helping them to strengthen relationships and maximise opportunities).
  • Having our article on ‘pitching’ published in Accountancy Age’s ‘Best Practice’ Magazine.
  • Working with loss adjusters on bids, tenders,  proposals and the art of winning.
  • Running our online seminar on the subject of ‘motivating clients to say yes’.
  • Being quoted in Accountancy Magazine’s ‘FD2008’ magazine on the subject of event management.
  • Running a workshop for PSMG Manchester on the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of key client plans.
  • Presenting in Milan at the annual conference of an international network of Accountants.
  • Delivering a seminar to the RICS – south west branch, on the subject of growing your client base.
  • Running a workshop for PM Forum on targeting strategies to create a dream client portfolio.
  • Responding to the call of duty as a special constable to help police the situation in Exeter on 22nd May.  Sorry again PM Forum Bristol for having to postpone your seminar as events unfolded that afternoon.
  • Running a training session on Key Client Management for a leading UK engineering firm.
  • Having our article - ‘Making events work for you’ published in QS Week.com
  • Helping a tax team put together their business plan and facilitating the actions and implementation of it.
