Introduction

Rachael is an experienced business development and marketing professional and has worked in-house for a number of organisations prior to joining PACE, including the last 15 years within the professional and business services sector.

She has been involved at a senior level devising and implementing business and marketing strategies and plans, key client management programmes and CRM systems, as well as advising on external communications, brand development and marketing research.

As well as heading up business development and marketing functions, Rachael has been involved in senior management and her experience includes advising directors on business planning, restructuring and motivating marketing teams to better support the business and working closely with HR on internal communications.

Experience & Key Projects

  • Conceived and implemented a customer care programme, including key account management, to improve communications, client retention and capitalise on opportunities for cross-selling, encompassing both online and offline marketing
  • Advised on and devised new approaches to help improve the quality of proposals and new business pitches
  • Initiated and implemented a brand development programme to better maximise and articulate the company's brand resulting in clarity for the brand, communicated both internally and externally
  • Identified new business opportunities and service improvements through a programme of client care reviews over a two year period
  • Developed a specification for a CRM system to provide a centralised database and in-depth client knowledge, researched and appointed a provider and implemented system roll-out
  • Set up a local mentoring scheme for early career marketers, putting them in contact with relevant mentors
